Suggest a book for Late Night Library

Late Night Library features one full-length book of poetry or fiction each month, including short story collections and novels.

We are limited to first books in the majority of cases and do not cover unpublished manuscripts. We are only able to consider books written or translated into English. Books must have been published within the last three calendar years (last two years preferred).

Please review Late Night Library’s Bookshelf for examples of the types of books we have featured before and plan to cover in the near future.

To submit a book for consideration:

First, please send us information about your book in the form of an email cover letter, including an email address and phone number where we can reach you.

Then, mail one hard copy of your book to:

Late Night Library

7503 SE Woodstock Blvd
Portland, OR 97206

Review copies cannot be returned. Kindly allow up to four months after we receive your book for a final decision. Please note that we select the books we plan to cover months in advance.

Confused about any of the above?  Feel free to ask!
