Our programs include a series of podcasts about debut titles, podcast conversations with cultural innovators, events that connect diverse literary communities, and a virtual network of writers and readers. We are based in Brooklyn, New York, and Portland, Oregon.

Erin Hoover is a poet living in Brooklyn, New York and a graduate of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Oregon and Sarah Lawrence College. Her poems are mostly about decomposition, though they are sometimes about electricity. Photo by Amy Aquilino.

Paul Martone is a fiction writer. His stories appear in The Saranac Review, The Fiddlehead, Water~Stone Review, The Stickman Review, and Reed Magazine (2010 John Steinbeck Award Finalist). A graduate of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Oregon, the University at Albany - SUNY, and the University at Buffalo - SUNY, Paul currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
